Rock the Ring in the ticker: Godfather of Shockrock Alice Cooper stages his execution in Hinwil

Once again we rocked and the Betzholzkreisel was brought to a boil. Headlining on Saturday with none other than Alice Cooper. The Züriost editorial team reported live on site, here you can read all the highlights.

From 4.30 p.m. Dirty Honey played loosely in a long-sleeved linen shirt at 35 degrees in the shade.
Accept rushed onto the stage like a fury at 18:00. That was heavy metal at its best!
Well, something like that: Accept surprised with an interpretation of Beethoven’s classic “Für Elise”.
Black Label Society must have been in a hurry: the guys started their show 15 minutes too early. Frontman Zakk Wylde came in a kilt. Heavy!
The shock rock veteran Alice Cooper was clearly the highlight of this year’s Rock the Ring with his performance and started at 9:30 p.m. with his amazing show.
Whips, crutches, a man wearing a Hannibal Lecter mask on stage – Alice Cooper’s show was not just a concert, it was also a play. He even staged his own execution!
The Swiss band Storace closed the festival.”

Alice Cooper, born in 1948, has not lost her grit and does not disappoint her audience by playing the dark character on a stage among coffins, skulls, crosses and a very dark scenography. “raise your voice for Poison” shouts to the audience for his most famous song. And the audience screams!
